30-Minute Post-Rehearsal Showcase: 3-3:30pm

This showcase will feature music by Jessie Montgomery, Yukiko Nishimura, and Caryn Wiegand Neidhold, and will be conducted by Jennifer Tung. Tung is a Dora-nominated conductor, the Artistic Director of Toronto City Opera, and the Assistant Conductor of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra. In 2020/21, Tung joined Tapestry Opera as a conducting fellow in the inaugural year of the Women in Musical Leadership (WML) program. WML is is a three-year program that addresses a historic gender inequity on the podium by providing women and non-binary conductors with professional experience and training.
