The Nathaniel Dett Chorale (NDC) will end their season with a concert on May 29 that features the students of Sistema Toronto, and a work by composer Aaron Manswell. Sistema students learned elements of composition as well as professional performance standards through a project that took place over the whole term.

In line with their mission to inspire and empower youth through culturally responsive music education, the children’s music charity is offering their students the chance to learn elements of composition and professional performance techniques in a multi-part workshop with Aaron Manswell and the Nathaniel Dett Chorale.

Sistema Toronto and Niagara’s NB Distillers have teamed up for a fundraiser that will support music education in some of Toronto’s underserved neighbourhoods.

From October 6 to 10, 2025, Toronto will play host to The Promise of Music: the First World Congress on the Social Impact of Music, presented by The Glenn Gould Foundation. The inaugural event brings international artists, leaders, scientists, technologists, educators, and others together to talk about the role that music can play in dealing with the issues posed by today’s world.

The Reading Partnership is thrilled to announce the return of The Next Chapter Literacy Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Scarborough Town Centre (STC).

For almost 50 Sistema Toronto students, the summer will combine learning and fun in a safe environment on the picturesque shores of Lake Couchiching. Funding from the founders of the program will go towards their stay at the National Music Camp (NMC).
